A lot has changed over the last 3 years, but we are back and swingin' strong in our new home at Starlite Dance Club. To help us celebrate our 3 Year Anniversary we're bringing out Internationally renowned DJs Jesse Miner and Manu Smith to keep the crowd swingin' all night long! We will have a free raffle with prizes including CDs, series classes and dance admission valued at over $50 each. Cake? Yes, it is finally here, Megan will be bringing her famous wedding cake, so save room for dessert. We will also have exciting special performances by Decadance and the Swing Central Performance Class! Come out and help us celebrate our 3 Year Anniversary!
Special Guest DJs:
Jesse Miner is an Internationally renowned DJ specializing in swinging jazz and blues. Jesse can be found spinning at a Lindy Hop event almost every week of the year. From competitions and camps on the east coast to nightclubs in his hometown of San Francisco and every hop spot in between, DJ Jesse shares his passion for swing across the country.
Manu Smith has been dancing Lindy Hop since December of 1997. Since then his love for the music and the dance has grown. Since 2000 he has been Dancing, performing, competing, teaching, DJing, and MCing Lindy Hop events. His teaching spans worldwide, including Singapore, Australia, Sweden, Barcelona, France, Korea, Brooklyn and San Francisco. Dig it!
Our new home, "The Club", has over 2,300 square feet of dance space with a dreamy floor in a swank and welcoming atmosphere. Starlite Dance Club is one of the largest and most beautifully constructed dance clubs in the country. It is conveniently located just off Hwy. 101 between San Jose and San Francisco in Sunnyvale, California. Come out and socialize and swing the night away at this spectacular venue!
