Wednesday Night Hop cannot wait to bring the Fil Lorenz Orchestra to the south bay! This band rocked the house during SFLX. Maybe you were there, maybe you missed them, but now is the time to soak in their sound on October 7th at Wednesday Night Hop.
The Fil Lorenz Orchestra is a high-voltage, crowd-pleasing big band born of the blues, with a sound defined by the scorching energy of the Hammond B3 organ, a searing, relentless horn section and an exhilarating, sometimes challenging repertoire of well-known blues burners and fascinating originals alike. To put it simply, the FLO can turn any club or festival performance into blues/bop celebration.
Band night will also be the launch of our four week class series in October! Signing up for class automatically gets you into the dance with the band!
During the band break, don't go too far away! We're presenting you with a little show with performances from the Swing Cats Rhythm Revue, Double or Nothing and and encore performance of the Proud Mary routine (from the 9:20 Special Open House).
